Jagan raises eye brows in Sepang Testing
Chennai rider Jagan Kumar has raised a number of eyebrows in the paddock as the rider blazed to the top of the new Suzuki Asian Challenge (SAC) timesheets during the 2015 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship pre–season test at the Sepang Circuit on Wednesday.
Jagan displayed a strong level of performance and maturity onboard the Suzuki FU150 despite being unfamiliar with the 2.807 kilometre track, clocking in the best lap of the day in 1’29.606s in the afternoon test.
Indonesian, Adhi Chandra was second quickest out of the 17 riders who attended the test with 1’29.694s while his compatriot, Andreas Gunawan concluded Day One third with 1’29.848s.
Singaporean, Hazil Juraimi was fourth fastest while Malaysian, Nazirul Izzat Bahauddin came in fifth with 1’29.996s and 1’30.050s respectively.
Suzuki introduced its own Asian series in the penultimate round of the ARRC in Thailand last year following the announcement of its imminent return to MotoGP for the 2015 season.
